I moved to New York and was curious to know whether they meet the test again or can I transfer my license is in the documentation? I hope you still have to test a different route or take a written test to get changed.

The pilot of the United States or Canada to New York
NYS recognizes valid driver's licenses held by residents of other states, U.S. territories and federal districts and provinces in Canada. If you reside in the State of New York, NYS must apply for a license to you, no more than 30 days after the beginning of the inhabitants of New York.
You can not change a driver's license from another state or Canadian driver's license for NYS driver's license if the license to your photo, driver's license is suspended or revoked license and license:

has expired in the last 12 months or
